Kathy Bisbee is the executive director of Brookline Interactive Group (BIG), a community media arts center, and the co-founder/director of the Public VR Lab, where she and her team are building an empowered Community XR movement and new field that values accessibility, digital inclusion, digital equity, and diversity in the XR/VR space. The Lab provides training, access to equipment, eco-hackathons, and fellowships for artists, storycoders, and media makers in Boston/Brookline, MA, and offers low-cost VR Toolkits for libraries, arts and cultural organizations, museums, media makers, educators, community media centers, and municipalities.
